The business was founded in 1972 by Jack Dell’s father and uncle, working out of the Fox Valley and building a reputation one repaired door at a time. Jack grew up in the shop, learning the trade from the two men who started it, and today he runs the company himself as the second generation. In more than five decades we have never changed what matters: the person who answers the phone is the person who turns the wrench.
How we work
We are deliberately not a national franchise or a call-center operation. When you call, you reach a local team, and most jobs are handled by Jack or a technician he trained. That means no runaround, no mystery subcontractors, and no surprise charges — we quote the price up front, and it runs about 20% below the local average. Because garage door springs and cables store dangerous tension, we are fully insured and bonded, which protects your home and our crew on every job.
